The role involves carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; read lift plans and method statements before starting. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Performance bonus on top of base pay.
