We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Martin County, Texas. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Day-to-day duties: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise 5+ years on the tools preferred.
