Gtaw welder wanted in Sauk County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Sauk County, Wisconsin. The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
