Steel erection rigger wanted in Hockley County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Hockley County, Texas. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. The role involves: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
