Acoustic insulation fitter • North Slope Borough, Alaska

Vacancy available: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in North Slope Borough, Alaska. The job is on flat roofs and terraces. You will install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding. You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Working-at-height certificate an advantage Six days a week, one day off.
