Lift maintenance fitter wanted in Taylor County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Taylor County, West Virginia. The role involves: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
