Sample machinist wanted in Knott County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sample machinist in Knott County, Kentucky. The role involves: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
