Gas installation technician — Akoko South West

Join our team: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Akoko South West, Ondo State. The job is at a boiler and appliance service centre. Day to day you will check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
