Vacancy available: we are hiring a construction mazdoor in Dimmit County, Texas. The role involves: • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator What we are looking for: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day $8,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
