GMAW welder wanted in Dixon County

Now hiring: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Dixon County, Nebraska. Your main tasks: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
