Great opportunity: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Assumption Parish, Louisiana. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces On a typical shift you will lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
