Great opportunity: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in LaSalle Parish, Louisiana. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage The role involves: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation Six days a week, one day off.
