Great opportunity: heavy goods vehicle driver (England)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in City and Borough of Wakefield, England. You will work in a refrigerated transport fleet. On a typical shift you will top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load. Ideal candidate: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. £3,050 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
