Garment presser — Tazewell County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment presser in Tazewell County, Illinois. You will work in a tailoring workshop. On a typical shift you will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board.
