You should have: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious The role involves read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints.
