Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in Southeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. What we are looking for: • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills The role involves: • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Replace faulty valves and reset TPMS sensors • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
