GTAW welder wanted in Van Buren County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Van Buren County, Tennessee. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding On a typical shift you will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size.
