Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure The role involves: • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
