Vacancy available: we are hiring a moulder in Missoula County, Montana. The job is at a busy iron foundry. Day to day you will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
