Escalator technician • Blaine County, Nebraska

We are recruiting: we are hiring an escalator technician in Blaine County, Nebraska. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. Your main tasks: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Full-time with occasional weekends.
