Garment machinist wanted in Blaine County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment machinist in Blaine County, Nebraska. On the job you will handle: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching You should have: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Part-time with flexible hours.
