Lathe operator wanted in Macoupin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe operator in Macoupin County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches. Requirements: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
