Join our team: we are hiring a rebar installer in Cass County, Iowa. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. You should have: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Your main tasks: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman 2+ years on the tools preferred.
