Crane rigger • Fannin County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in Fannin County, Texas. You will work at a shipyard. The role involves: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
