Join our team: we are hiring a rebar worker in West Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Ideal candidate: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing On a typical shift you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
