Gtaw welder — Ika South

Join our team: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Ika South, Delta State. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. You will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
