Concrete placer wanted in Lincoln County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete placer in Lincoln County, New Mexico. You will work on a high-rise slab pour. On the job you will handle: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish You should have: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Six days a week, one day off.
