Framing carpenter • Malam Maduri, Jigawa State

Now hiring: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Malam Maduri, Jigawa State. You will be based on a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish Ideal candidate: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
