Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in City of Kingston upon Hull, England. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. On the job you will handle: • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet You should have: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Pay around £1,750 per month, based on your experience.
