Now hiring: semi-automatic welder (Lagos State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Apapa, Lagos State. The job is at an automobile body shop. Your main tasks: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Willing to work shifts and overtime 5+ years on the tools preferred.
