Join our team: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Pitt County, North Carolina. You will be based on a busy domestic building site. Your main tasks: • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler You should have: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel Overtime paid at a premium rate.
