Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Fisher County, Texas. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols 6+ years on the tools preferred.
