HSE officer wanted in Hays County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a HSE officer in Hays County, Texas. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. Your main tasks: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date Requirements: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Rotating shifts.
