Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches The role involves: • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray Six days a week, one day off. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
