Brick and block layer wanted in Mackinac County

Now hiring: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Mackinac County, Michigan. You will be based on a commercial construction site. On a typical shift you will laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays. You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
