Vacancy available: we are hiring a trailer driver in Mariposa County, California. The job is on long-haul routes across the country. The role involves: • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock Requirements: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
