Lift installation engineer • Roane County, Tennessee

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Roane County, Tennessee. The job is in a residential tower block. The role involves: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays Ideal candidate: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Part-time with flexible hours.
