Join our team: production assembler (California)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a production assembler in Santa Cruz County, California. You will be based at an automotive parts factory. Your main tasks: • Report jams or tool faults to the line leader straight away • Carry out a visual quality check for scratches, gaps and missing parts • Tighten fasteners to the specified torque using a power screwdriver or torque wrench • Keep pace with the takt time and pass the unit to the next station • Log defects and place rejected units in the rework bay • Pack finished units with foam inserts and seal the cartons What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of quality checks and 5S • Minimum 10th pass or ITI is an advantage • Previous experience on a production or assembly line preferred 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Contact us to fix an interview.
