Gardener wanted in Hitchcock County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gardener in Hitchcock County, Nebraska. You will be based at a private estate garden. Day to day you will dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads. What we are looking for: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
