GTAW welder — Madison County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Madison County, New York. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Your main tasks: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination 6+ years on the tools preferred.
