Vertical transportation technician wanted in North Somerset

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in North Somerset, England. The role involves wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; run load and overload tests with test weights; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Rotating shifts.
