We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Grant County, Minnesota. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding On a typical shift you will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
