Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG welder in Hinds County, Mississippi. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes On the job you will handle: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness Six days a week, one day off.
