You should have: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Valid driving licence for site call-outs The role involves: • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
