Argon arc welder • Kaura, Kaduna State

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Kaura, Kaduna State. On a typical shift you will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Performance bonus on top of base pay.
