Now hiring: we are hiring an air conditioning installer in City of Suffolk, Virginia. You will be based at a busy AC installation company. Day-to-day duties: • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges • Run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge • Install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter Requirements: • Able to handle refrigerant safely and aware of F-Gas rules • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience 4+ years on the tools preferred.
