Vacancy available: we are hiring an ironing operator in City of Edinburgh, Scotland. You will work at a dry cleaner's. Day-to-day duties: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. £16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
