Fire and safety officer wanted in Florence County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Florence County, Wisconsin. The job is in a warehouse and logistics yard. Your main tasks: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
