Die-casting operator wanted in City of Fredericksburg

Great opportunity: we are hiring a die-casting operator in City of Fredericksburg, Virginia. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. Day-to-day duties: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
