What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine The role involves: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
